An entire generation of children born during the years of 1946-1968 were raised according to the advice found on the pages of this one compact and comprehensive volume. While the products of Dr. Spock’s parenting regimen were certainly not uniform, the existence of this cohort of the American population has had and continues to have a marked influence on the political, social, economic and cultural life of our country.
