Member News November 2018

Welcome Our Newest Member

As of January 1, Angela Felver will join our membership rolls. Angie was once an AAUW branch scholarship recipient and now wants “to give back.” She has a busy life with small children at home and a full-time office job and she is currently finishing up her BS in Accounting at Peirce College, graduating this December. Nevertheless, she is eager to lend her skills to our branch as time allows for help with things like scholarships, STEM programs and finance/fundraising.

Daytime Book Group Welcomes New Members

The Daytime Book Group meets the third Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 1 p.m. We are a very friendly group of women and would welcome anyone who would like to visit a meeting, or join our group. We are very flexible in our modus operandi. We do not choose a subject or an author. Members are encouraged to read whatever they want, and to decide if they want to report on a book, or not. Questions? Contact Sharon Abrahams, Chairperson, at (215) 750-6921 or MIKEAB100@msn.com.

Amy Lindsay Has Moved

Amy Lindsay, a former branch finance officer who continues to support the branch with her membership even after her move to Massachusetts, has recently relocated. Her new address is:

1 Windsor Woods Lane, Apt 1411
Canton MA 02021

She welcomes hearing from old AAUW friends.
